As part of the restoration of the Lagonda Rapier, we were tasked with modifying the pedal assembly to create a more conventional layout of brake pedal in the centre rather than on the right. This involved designing and manufacturing all of the components to move the pedal from outside of the chassis to the inside. The original pedal was utilised as much as possible to maintain the connection to the brake rods.

Over the last six months we have been busy working on this lovely Lagonda Rapier. The new owner lives in France and so work needed to be done to make sure the car was as good as it could be. We completed work on the engine, rebuilt the carburettors, overhauled the brakes and rear axle amongst a list of other smaller jobs. We also modified the pedal assembly to swap the throttle and brakes. More to follow on that!! The car is now safely back in France and is being enjoyed by its new owner! #1.5litre

Back in the summer we carried out some electrical repairs to the little Austin 7. The charging system had faults and required the shunt on the Dynamo repairing and then the third brush adjusting to improve the charge rate. We also stripped down and repaired the ammeter and main switch as they also had faults. All done just in time for the car club summer BBQ!

An exciting new project! Last weekend, we traveled south of Paris to Troyes to collect this 1936 Riley 12/4 Kestrel. We will be rebuilding the engine, pre select gearbox and recommissioning the car ready for its return to France. Watch out for updates as we work through bringing it back to the road!

Over the last few months we have had the pleasure of working on two WO 4 1/2 litre Bentleys. A mixture of servicing, brake work and minor fettling has been the order of the day, plus the odd road test!!

Last month we had this beautiful E Type in the workshop to have a new clutch fitted. We also took the opportunity to give it a good tune up! The car is mildly uprated with a 5 speed gearbox and a fast road engine. A very quick motor car!!

Over the last year we have been beavering away on this 1902 Darracq 9hp. Work carried out includes: rebuilding the rear axle with new crown wheel and pinion and modern bearings, new modified front stub axles to use modern bearings, new shackle pins, a new exhaust, a change of carburettor and rebuilt wheels. Since getting it back on its wheels, we have fettled it ready for the London to Brighton run this weekend! Thanks to for the crown wheel and pinion, for the assistance with the carburettor and for doing the wheels!
