*UPDATE* from the team:

🚑 Yesterday I received a phone call about an ambulance that had run into major difficulties whilst travelling in convoy past Maidstone. The vehicle was on an important humanitarian journey, heading towards Ukraine to deliver much-needed medical support.

Luckily the ambulance managed to make it to us and the team jumped straight in to help. After diagnosing the issue I made some calls to find the parts required, GSF Car Parts and Motor Parts Direct between them had what we required, so big thank you for getting them to us so quickly so late in the day.

We carried out the repair and worked quickly to get the ambulance safely back on the road so it could continue its journey with the rest of the convoy.

Thanks to the quick repair, they were able to make it to the Channel Tunnel and continue their journey towards Poland and then onto Ukraine where the ambulance will go on to help people who urgently need medical care.

We’re very proud that our garage could play a small part in such an important mission. Safe travels to the team and thank you for the incredible work you’re doing.

A common issue we repair, for heavily worn camshafts & rocker damage. As seen in this video, you can see the roller bearing has completely failed.
