Mechanic needed full-time permanent

Monday - Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm

Salary negotiable depending on experience
28 days holiday inc bank holidays

On site parking

Duties will include
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide suitable solutions
- Conduct inspections and identify potential problems
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

The government has confirmed that it will reintroduce mandatory MOT testing from 1 August in line with gradually easing lockdown restrictions and rising traffic levels.

Drivers had been given a six-month extension of their vehicle’s MOT certificate to discourage non-essential travel and free up garages for repair work to essential workers’ vehicles. The scheme was set to run until March 2021 but will now end in a month’s time.

Tilyard Autos will be re opening on Monday 27th April, we will be taking all necessary precautions for you the customer and also for our staff. We do provide a collection/delivery service from home or workplace if necessary.
