Our apprentices went around the business getting colleagues involved — inviting them to draw both a department and a country out of the hat 🎩🌎

We were so proud to see such a fantastic turnout last weekend at the annual Truck Pull. 20 teams took part and all brought amazing energy, determination and team spirit 💪

Best of all? The event helped raise vital funds for St Catherine's Hospice, Lancashire who do such vital work in our local community💚

We’re delighted to share that Leyland Trucks has been named a finalist in two categories at this year’s Lancashire Apprenticeship Awards 2026:

⭐ Engineering / Manufacturing Apprentice of the Year – Abbie Prior from our PDG department

It’s fantastic recognition for our team and a real reflection of the strength of our apprenticeship programme, and the role it plays in developing the next generation of engineering and manufacturing talent.
