Another early start with another exceptional drive!

This time it was Saskia’s turn to secure a licence at the first time of asking. The English National gymnastics champion delivered under pressure, vaulting over every challenge the examiner could present, finishing with a beam-ing smile. Just one fault too from the judges - a fantastic drive!

Massive congratulations to you Saskia, may your mum be forever free from having to drive you to training!

The wonderful news continues!

This morning it was mathematical genius and Starbucks Barista Queen, Isabel who glided through her test in Chorley.

Following on from last week’s ‘manifestation pug’, we had two black cats cross our path in the moments before arriving at the test centre. Double good luck you would think? Well Isabel has spent most of her life in the States, where that’s a bad omen.

However the first-time pass proved that British superstitions are better than American ones. So with that, I’ll finish by reminding Isabel that it’s a windscreen, not a windshield and it’s a bonnet, not a hood! 👌

Fault-free Freya!

What a fabulous start to the day! It was another early start, but this one was never in doubt..

The nursery practitioner found the streets of Chorley considerably less of a challenge than the 26 children she was about to face as part of her shift.

Whilst the preschoolers may not be impressed with tales of Freya’s driving test, I think it’s the perfect day to get the trikes out and she can get them started early on their observations and road craft!

Whilst not being a superstitious person myself, I do love quirky things that people do to bring confidence/luck.

Those that have had a test with The Driving Force School of Motoring will know that ‘Lucky Lando’ the keyring always gets a tickle before a test to bring luck - with remarkable results!

Today’s first-time pass for Andrea can only partly be attributed to ‘Lucky Lando’ however, as Louie the manifestation pug got involved…

The popular workplace dog is given a biscuit and sits on the post it note until it comes true. Then he gets another biscuit when his hard work is done.

So massive congratulations to Lando, Louie and I suppose some credit to Andrea who nailed her test at the first attempt, with barely a fault!

With the shortage of driving tests, test days seem to be becoming further and further apart. So it’s even nicer when you do have a test, and it’s a pass!

Step forward Emmie, who absolutely nailed her first attempt at a test this morning in Chorley, picking up just one driving fault - an amazing drive!

With her and her partner soon to become home owners for the first time, this pass was very much needed to enable her to get to work and to her new home, as well as being another tick on the adulting checklist!

Massive congratulations to her, it’s well deserved! All the best with the house move!

A massive congratulations goes to camera-shy Freya from Preston, who nailed her driving test this afternoon.

She shouldn’t be shy though, given she got a first-time fault free test, as good as it gets!

It’s been a pleasure getting to know you, Freya and although it’s taken longe than hoped to actually get a test, but the wait has been worth it! Safe driving!

Massive congratulations goes to Melanie who secured a comfortable first-time pass this morning in Preston.

We’ve had a few adventures along the learning journey, including getting stuck on the motorway late at night, destroying the supply of car snacks and drinks. Plus the time when we actually got lost somewhere near Bolton.

But what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and Melanie was able to harness this resilience and turn it into a full-licence worthy drive!

Congratulations once again! Stay safe on the road and enjoy your driving freedom!

The pass streak continued today on the sunny streets of Chorley and this time it was Sam who secured a full driving licence!

Sam, the mechatronic engineer (nope, me neither!!) precision planned his drive, powered through the national speed limits near Charnock Richard and the end effector was a first-time pass! (Google was my friend for sure today!)

Huge congratulations to Sam, I wish you many happy years of driving!

It’s summer(ish) and it’s time for the cricketers of the world to come out of their winter slumber.

Today’s first-time test pass is just in time for Dan to partake not only in upcoming cricket matches, but also take job that’s a 20+ minute drive from home. A job that starts next week, for which he didn’t have any way of getting there! Howzat for confidence in yourself!

It’s been a pleasure, Daniel, all the best with your new job and - of course - your new freedom to drive!

7:03am tests aren’t exactly joyous for the average young adult as it involves being awake and on the road by 6am.

However, this one is made of sterner stuff! Step forward drama student, Thomas who barely had any backstage nerves, performed brilliantly on test (with barely a fault!) and brought the curtain down on his learner driver status - securing his full licence before many people had even woken up!

Massive congratulations to you Thomas! The roads of leyland have a great new driver to test how deep the potholes are! 👌
