Before and After on a Dodge Journey. The car had to be pushed onto the ramp due to the DPF been completely blocked, there was also a risk of creating back pressure and causing engine damage.

But all flushed through and cleaned now.

Only 2 days into 2025 and we have our first Transit Custom. Over fuelling is one of the many causes of DPF issues. To much gets injected in, the engine cannot burn it efficiently and it just builds up in the exhaust filter.

It’s not just DPF’s we clean !!!
We’ve just completed a full clean on an EGR cooler from a local HGV repair workshop.
Cleaning this unit resulted in a substantial saving on the cost of a replacement unit.

Vauxhall Insignia, turbocharger failure caused a complete blockage in this DPF. As you can see, it took some clearing. But now flowing fine and refitted back on the car.

Just starting the day, the dirty way. A completely blocked DPF from a Citroen Relay was dropped in this morning, it was that bad, the engine could not run.

But after a good soak in chemical and a flush through, it was all ready to go again.

This week we started with a messy one, turbocharger failure on a BMW. This caused severe oil contamination in the DPF.
But as you’ll see, this was soon sorted out.
We always say, leave any sensors in the DPF when it is sent for cleaning, as these will be cleaned too. Check the comments below for a before & after….
