Following defamatory posts by Mr Hamza Ahmed on this site, I have taken legal advice and reply to him as follows:
Mr Hamza Ahmed brought his Golf MK7R to my business originally to have the inlet and injector cleaned. This I completed. He was satisfied with the work and after payment, left the premises in the car.
He returned to the garage…… hours later, alleging that a runner flap had failed and it had gone through the engine, causing the engine to fail. He blamed our earlier work for this failure. We were more than happy to find the cause of the engine failure and to help our customer where possible, but he instructed us NOT to strip the vehicle down, saying it would be collected.
I carried out a visual inspection of the vehicle using a bore scope which found that the runner flaps were still intact. The fault codes of the ECU, with all freeze-frame data showed that there was a bottom end failure and I have all photos and videos of this inspection to back this up. The time stamps and freeze-frame data from the ECU also showed what the vehicle was doing prior to the engine failure: it was travelling at 114 mph at over 5000 RPM, with nearly 180,000 miles on the clock.
Despite these findings, we were still willing to help Mr Hamza Ahmed However, we do not take kindly to his threats.
We remain firm that out inlet and injector clean had nothing to do with the failed bottom end on this vehicle and believe it was due to oil pressure failure or balance shift failure at high speeds and rpm.
We will request a formal report from Volkswagen on this matter and from their report can instruct our insurers and solicitor accordingly.
