Making his Festival debut in his 1st season racing, Daniel had excellent drives throughout the weekend.
Despite a cracked exhaust, he managed to defend his place in the pre82 race to take the 3rd step on the podium.
Unfortunately, his semi-final was cut short due to an incident with another car, a quick check over found only a puncture which was replaced getting him back on grid for the historic final where he finished 15th.
Now to see what he can do at the Walter
Hayes!

1st shout out from the weekend goes to Harrison. Amazing drives throughout the whole weekend and went all the way to the final finishing 14th and not a new tyre in sight!!

While the results of the final are being discussed far and wide. Credit to Harrison and Callum, the final lap of the pre 82 race shows a perfect example of wheel to wheel racing with the utmost respect for each other!

Formula Ford Festival 2026 - mission completed!

10 cars were a tall order but we did it with an amazing team of drivers and mechanics!
There were wins, podiums, amazing close racing, personal bests and a few unfortunate moments.

We will be back in 2027!

Fresh from her 18th birthday, Grace Bates is preparing for another milestone: her first Formula Ford Festival.

Racing her 1980 Van Diemen RF80 with Shaws Motorsport, Grace has gained experience across a range of Formula Ford championships this season, building knowledge and pace with every outing.

She’ll also contest the Pre ’82 races, adding valuable track time as she takes on the Festival challenge. With her rapid learning and the potential for October weather to influence proceedings, Grace could be one to watch as she targets progress in the Brian Jones Historic Final.

We’ve got another exciting addition to this year’s Formula Ford Festival…

Harrison Morrow - 2026 Super Classic Champion will also be making a special guest appearance behind the wheel of our Van Diemen RF81 Ayrton Senna replica car! 🏁🇧🇷

Harrison will be taking the wheel of the RF81 in the pre 82 races whilst also racing his Reynard in the main festival.

A very special car paying tribute to one of the most iconic drivers in motorsport history and definitely one to look out for around Brands Hatch.
