The super nova lives!!!!!
Ive had this little gem in storage for nearly 10 years and have finally found the time to get this on the road for a good friend of mine
Wouldnt have done it for maybe another 10 years 🤣 if not for Terry (our new mechanic) who is extremely skilled at everything thing from old school (like this) to brand new vehicles (although his specialty is vag/audi)
This little nova has a c20xe engine with plenty of extra bits to make it a special little car
Its had new wheels and tyres
Suspension arms
Brakes all round
Timing belt and water pump kit
Uprated oil pump
High lift cams
Ecu has been chipped
Astra GTE digital dash
Big bore exhaust
F20 gearbox to handle the power
The list goes on and on
There is still plenty to do on it but for now it is on the road
No doubt you will all see it around town

This customer came in today with brake noise and vibration (she’d been to another “mechanic” and he said to just service the brakes as theres life left in them hes clearly missed the massive separation between pad and backing!! Luckily she has now come to a professional and got them sorted

Please guys and gals DO NOT mess with weird noises or vibrations on your vehicle just call in and we will check them for free

Fiat in with a no start issue stripped down to find no teeth left on timing belt
Will need further investigation to find extent of damage

Remember people it is cheaper to replace a timing belt than to repair/replace the engine

This is a oil filter that the owner skipped a service last year 😱 called us up saying they had a low oil pressure warning light on 🫣
I dont think they will do this again
Luckily enough changing the oil and filter twice with a nice engine flush in between now the oil pressure light stays off

Had a busy sunday
Customer failed MOT on exhaust emissions to high so on further inspection found the dpf had been taken out by previous owner
So fitted new dpf and programmed car back to the way it should be and then MOT passed
Happy customer!!
