🏆💚 10 YEARS OF BEING AN ABSOLUTE SUPERSTAR! 💚🏆

Some people really are the unsung heroes of a dealership, and this man is certainly one of them! 👏

Today, we're giving a massive shoutout to Stuart, our Parts Manager here at Vertu Harlow, as he celebrates an incredible 10 YEARS OF SERVICE! 🎉🥂

You might not always see Stuart when you visit us, but trust us, he's a huge part of what keeps this place ticking!

🔧 When your car comes in for a service and needs a part, Stuart is the man behind the scenes making sure our Parts Department runs like clockwork.

But there's so much more to Stuart than just knowing his way around a parts catalogue!

He's hardworking, dedicated, incredibly knowledgeable and, most importantly, just an all-round brilliant bloke! 💚

Nothing is ever too much trouble. He's always willing to lend a hand, help a colleague or go that extra mile to get things sorted.

He runs a fantastic department, looks after his team and brings a brilliant attitude to work every single day.

And let's be honest, 10 years of putting up with the rest of us deserves an award in itself! 😂👏

📸 Pictured here is Stuart receiving his 10 Years of Service Award from our General Manager, Richard Geary, along with a well-deserved bottle of bubbly! 🍾

Stuart, your hard work, loyalty and dedication certainly don't go unnoticed. You're a massive part of the Vertu Harlow family, and we're genuinely lucky to have you on the team.

💚 10 years down, and still one of the coolest blokes in the building!

From all of us at Vertu Harlow, THANK YOU, STUART! 🥳

👏👏👏 Come on everyone, let's show Stuart some love in the comments! 👇

⛽️ DIESEL IS NOW AROUND £2 A LITRE IN HARLOW… SO WE DID THE MATHS. ⚡️

This isn't about telling everyone they NEED an electric car.

But with fuel prices where they are right now, we thought this was worth looking at. 👀

Let's say you drive 12,000 miles a year.

🚗 50mpg diesel at around £2 a litre
That's roughly £2,180 a year in diesel.

Now let's take an EV.

⚡ We'll use a pretty conservative 3.5 miles per kWh and assume you're able to do most of your charging at home on a cheap overnight EV tariff of around 7.6p per kWh.

12,000 miles could cost around...

⚡ £260 in electricity for the YEAR.

That's potentially a difference of around...

🤯 £1,900 A YEAR.

And 3.5 miles per kWh isn't exactly an outrageous figure either. Plenty of EV drivers regularly see 4, 4.5 or even 5 miles per kWh depending on the car, conditions and journey.

Of course, EVs aren't right for everybody.

If you can't charge at home, regularly rely on public rapid chargers or your driving doesn't suit one, the maths changes.

But if you've got a driveway, can charge overnight and you're covering 10,000 to 12,000 miles a year...

Maybe it's time to have another look. 👀⚡

We've got electric options across the Citroen range and we're always happy to have a chat and work out the numbers based on your actual driving.

No EV lecture. 😂
No pressure.

Just do the maths. 🧮⚡

Figures are illustrative. Actual costs vary by vehicle efficiency, electricity tariff, charging losses, fuel price, driving conditions and charging method.
