Congratulations to our inaugural Future Stars group, who reached a fantastic milestone today by completing their Get the Edge UK leadership development programme.

Managing Director Ben Sowersby joined the session to present certificates and hear first‑hand how the team has strengthened their listening and coaching abilities, confidence, and composure under pressure. The progress demonstrated by the team has been truly outstanding.

Unfortunately not everyone could make it today, but we’ll celebrate their success very soon.

Not your average Management Meeting today - we had the pleasure of celebrating an incredible milestone: 30 years of service from our Tony Hopper!

Tony joined Bells back in 1996 as an Apprentice Technician and has grown with us every step of the way, becoming Aftersales General Manager of our Spennymoor site. His positivity, support, and genuine kindness have made him an invaluable part of the team.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Tony has recently added a new title to his list of achievements - Grandad!

Alex and Liam from our truck sales team had a fantastic day at APSE.

They stopped by the Mercedes-Benz Trucks UK stand, which featured vehicles kindly loaned by two of our customers: a Mercedes-Benz Atego with a Trest Ltd clinical waste body from NWR Hygiene Group, and a Mercedes-Benz Econic single gully tanker from Whale Tankers, supplied by Aberdeen City Council.

What a night!🏆

Huge congratulations to Carl Belch and Alex Wordsworth who collected the Sales Team of the Year award at the Daimler Truck UK Dealer of the Year awards last night, with Carl also named as Sales Leader of the Year.

This is a fantastic achievement that reflects the hard work, commitment and teamwork shown across the whole business. We would like to recognise everyone who contributed to this success — from sales, parts and workshop teams, to logistics, sales and warranty administration and marketing.

We’re delighted to celebrate Bradley’s achievement as he begins his full‑time role in our Billingham Parts Department.

After joining us through the Catcote Futures STEPS supported internship, Bradley has shown outstanding commitment, attention to detail, and a brilliant work ethic and has become a valued member of the team.
