🔧 Audi intake valve walnut blasting at West Side Autos, Halifax — look at that difference!

This Audi came into our workshop with misfires across multiple cylinders and concerns about loss of power. On inspection, we found heavy carbon build-up around the intake valves, as you can see in the before photos.

We carried out walnut blasting to remove the stubborn deposits and clean the intake valves and ports. A very satisfying result — the pictures speak for themselves! 👌

Walnut blasting uses crushed walnut shell media to physically remove carbon deposits. If your car has a misfire, rough idle or feels down on power, proper diagnosis is the first step to finding the cause.

🔧 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S – Engine Removal | West Side Autos, Halifax

Not your everyday air conditioning repair! 😅

This Porsche 911 Carrera 4S came into our workshop requiring attention to its air conditioning pipework.

Unfortunately, accessing a couple of AC pipes on these cars isn't quite as straightforward as you'd hope. Sometimes a relatively small repair involves some serious dismantling!

With the rear of the Porsche stripped down and the engine removal underway, it's a good example of how much work can be involved in what sounds like a simple job.
