We incorporated Precision Motor Care exactly two years ago today and we have some exciting news on the horizon !

📢 UPDATE

Following on from our previous post about Scott’s baby boy making his unexpected early arrival, he is now ready to come home from hospital and we will therefore be closed from Monday 17th to Wednesday 19th August.

Everyone who was booked in during this time has been contacted directly, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding.

We’ll be back open as usual on Thursday 20th August 🚗

At PMC, we always like to share a little bit of both business and personal life because we’re proud to be a local, independent garage and our customers are a big part of that.

Last week, Scott’s baby boy made an unexpected early arrival, both mum and baby are doing really well!

We are open as usual and business is continuing as normal but we kindly ask for a little bit more patience than usual whilst we navigate this period with Scott balancing his time between the hospital and work.

We’re as committed as ever to providing the best possible service & quality of work.

A couple of other jobs we’ve had through the workshop over the past few weeks…

✅ 2022 Volkswagen Arteon – Diagnosed a coolant leak and traced the fault to the A/C refrigerant-to-coolant heat exchanger, which had failed internally, allowing refrigerant to enter the high-voltage cooling system.

✅ Vauxhall Zafira – In for a timing chain and intake manifold replacement after developing common wear-related issues.

Audi S5 (2008) in for a Timing Chain Replacement 🚙

This 2008 Audi S5 came into the workshop for a timing chain replacement.

Timing chain wear is a common issue on these V8 engines, and if left too long it can lead to poor running, rattling on start-up, engine warning lights, and potentially costly engine damage.

We carried out the repair with attention to detail to get this S5 back on the road running as it should.
