Looking for vehicle technicians & mot testers to join our growing team!

Location: Bristol Road, Gloucester

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Early finish every Friday as long as all the work is done) Lunch 1hr.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

We are a busy, independent garage and car sales forecourt in Gloucester. We handle everything from servicing, repairs, MOTs, diagnostics and air conditioning. We invest heavily in our workshop, meaning you will work with the latest diagnostic tools, equipment, and technical data. As a small growing business, we want someone who takes pride in their work and wants to grow within the business. We are particular with what work we take on, we don’t just take on anything and everything.

What We Offer You:

Work-Life Balance: No weekend work and an early finish every Friday.
Paid Christmas Shutdown: 20 days holiday plus 2 weeks fully paid time off over Christmas.
Free Training: We will fully fund your MOT tester license and ongoing technical courses.

What You Will Do:

Perform vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on all makes of light vehicles.
Tackle large mechanical jobs including timing belts, timing chains, clutches, brakes, and suspension.
Deliver honest, high-quality workmanship to keep our local customers loyal and happy.

What You Need:

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) OR be time-served with strong experience.
Tools: Your own tools and toolbox.
Licence: A full UK driving licence.
Traits: Reliable, punctual, honest, and comfortable chatting with customers when needed.

Our MOT ramp has decided that it no longer likes us and has stuck up, thankful an engineer managed to get it down for the customer. We are awaiting a part to get it fixed, we understand the frustration it can cause if you have a booked in MOT, we have moved as much as we can but between last week and this week we have cancelled over 80 tests 🙃 it will hopefully be fixed this week. Any issues give us a shout! 😊
