🚗 HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO HOLLY! 🚗

Today, Holly didn't just pass her driving test she absolutely flew through it! I am incredibly proud of everything she has achieved.
When Holly first started with me, she already had the underlying skills to drive, but she really lacked confidence in her own ability.
We got straight to work filling in a few knowledge gaps, and once those were sorted, she was flying from lesson to lesson!
We started with 2-hour slots and quickly dropped down to 1 hour sessions because she already had everything she needed in her memory bank. From there, it was all about repeat, repeat, repeat building that muscle memory so she could completely trust her own decisions.
It was definitely a challenge for her when I stopped giving full talk-throughs and left her to trust her own instincts, but she dug deep, believed in herself, and mastered it.
The best part, No more Ubers backwards and forwards to work! You are going to save an absolute fortune, Holly! 💰💰
I want to wish you all the success in the world for the future. Keep holding onto that confidence and trusting yourself on the roads.

🚗 No, the rules have NOT changed.

There have been rumours circulating that if you pass your driving test in an automatic car, you’ll soon be able to drive a manual after just a one-hour conversion lesson.

Let’s separate fact from fiction.

The AA has proposed that drivers who pass in an automatic should be able to gain manual entitlement after completing a one-hour conversion session with a qualified instructor, rather than taking another practical test.
The suggestion has been made as one possible way of helping to reduce the driving test backlog. (ITVX⁠)

⚠️ However, this is only a proposal.

The law has not changed.

At the moment, if you pass your driving test in an automatic vehicle, you are only licensed to drive automatic vehicles.

If you want to drive a manual car, you must pass a practical driving test in a manual vehicle. You do not need to retake your theory test, but you do need to pass the manual practical test. (GOV.UK⁠)

What an incredible achievement! You’ve proven that hard work and a steady focus can overcome any obstacle like a packed work schedule, or a test cancelled half hour beforehand. Your persistence is an inspiration to everyone around you. Looking forward to hearing how this is going to change and help you're work life. I'm sure I'll still see you cycling around. When you see this car or any car supervising a learner ,please remember we teach our clients to drive safely within the law, let's break that down !

When the speed limit is 20 we will teach them to stick to 20, even though you may feel you can go faster on that stretch of road!

Driving up close behind , nodding you head, hand gestures, flashing lights or even beeping the horn is not going to make us go any faster!

Speeds are there for a reason , stick behind us and use us as a guidance to stop yourselves going over !

With anxiety and mental health on the increase it takes us along time to build up their confidence and a sheer second to take it away when they look in the mirror and see an angry driver close up behind , nodding heads and giving hand gestures, literally making them feel like rubbish for sticking at the speed limit.

Please be patient, keep your distance and we will be out of your way in no time!

You didn't just pass a driving test today; you proved that you can overcome any obstacle in your way. Most people take driving for granted, but I know the mountain you had to climb to get here. I’m so incredibly proud of the discipline you’ve shown. Focusing on his future This license is your passport to a new life. You’ve officially opened the doors to your own home and a great career. You earned every bit of this freedom. The road ahead looks a lot different now. You’ve gone from 'getting by' to 'moving forward,' and there’s no stopping you now.

Congratulations Logan a well deserved passed today.
I’ve watched your confidence grow from those first few lessons. Seeing you 'ace it' today after everything you’ve pushed through is one of my highlight of the week.
Taking test in your Dad's car then two weeks before not, so making sure everything 100% in my car you 'ace it' then Turing up for test two week early 😀
Taking the test, just unfortunately kiss the kerb otherwise would of passed first time with clean sheet.
But we got there only 3 min today (even if you didn't think so 😆).
Super proud, will miss our weekly catch up. Now go and Ace your exams.
Enjoy the freedom, a well deserved pass.....

Well done, Georgia! Passing with only 1 minor is a true reflection of the high standard you’ve set for yourself. You should be incredibly proud of how far you’ve come from that first day, and all you overcome.
