Gaz thought he had a 30-second fix on his hands 👀🔧

This car came in with a rough idle, but after a little investigating, a smoke test revealed a torn pipe affecting the air and fuel mixture.

Next up, replacing the damaged pipe before making any adjustments needed to get things running as they should. 🚗

This Ford Kuga came in after the customer noticed reduced power, higher fuel use and a vibration on a longer journey.

Gaz takes us through the checks, what the team found and why they decided not to replace the brakes just yet saving the customer from paying for work that might not be needed. 🙌

Instead, a likely wheel balancing issue was picked up and will be addressed first, giving the customer a clear next step without an unnecessary repair bill. 🚗🔧

Diagnose first. Replace parts second 🔧

This little Corsa came to us after the customer had been told it needed a new battery… but it had never struggled to start. 🤔

Gaz got stuck into the diagnostics and found the battery was absolutely fine! 🙌

A steering angle sensor calibration, a little oil and some proper fault finding later, the warning lights were gone no unnecessary battery and a couple of hundred quid saved! 💷🚗

That’s why we test before we replace. 🔍🔧
