We have the uk's first showing of the spirit 2. 2.5kw with the 1.6 detachable battery.

We also have the 12kg Remigo 1.5 kw engine that has an inbuilt battery and ajustable shaft length.

We just wanted to wish all you all Merry Xmas and say thanks for all your support over the last year.

Trailer sales were steady, electric outboards, POD's etc increased yet again, We are delighted with the feedback on our new light weight Ecosse range of tenders.

What to expect new from us next year

We have agreed a deal to take on a proven 48V inboard solution and they also make more powerful POD drives. Full details will be on our website in January.

New tender. We plan to launch a more stable tender later next year that also tracks far better in the water. This will be branded as the Ecosse tracker and will come in 2.5 and 2.8. We currently have the first one to show people in the showroom.

Ashton Marine Services Ltd are offering to market the stunning Island 10m RIB (2025) coded to MCA Category 3 (r) under the Workboat Code edition 3, available immediately.
The only reason this boat is for sale is our client is yet again upgrading to an even bigger island rib.
This high-performance RIB is readily adapted to a wide range of uses from chase boat and commercial applications to the serious recreational customer wanting to explore further afield.
Powered by twin Suzuki DF325 engines, the extremely sea-kind and efficient hull achieves very impressive fuel economy of 2.3l per nautical mile at a cruising speed of 33kts. The RIB is fitted with twin stainless-steel fuel tanks offering a total capacity of 660L so ideal for longer trips or working as a commercial boat.
The RIB is fitted with a spacious console-cuddy with two berths and sea heads below and ample room for equipment stowage. The console is fully walk-around, providing easy access to the foredeck, which includes a spacious anchor locker with Lewmar hatch.
The aft deck is fitted six Ullman Biscaya suspension seats 2 x double jockeys and a stainless-steel bimini with zip in enclosure, offering full weather protection to all passengers and crew.

The boat was the lightweight ecosse 290 with a spirit 1 plus engine. These lightweight boats with 3 years warranty come in any colour you want as long as its grey! More details on our website.

In the coming weeks we will be announcing a new set of trips on the Clyde. Citizen Scientist trips. On these trips our guests will be helping a researcher on the boat carry our their research, currently we have 2 research projects, ornithological research and seal research.
In the background we have been working on forging partnerships with several organizations to draw attention to the Clyde's research opportunities and also ensuring the Clyde is kept healthy.
Thanks to Ashton Marine Services Ltd we have a new Soft Inflatable Boat and electric engine to allow our researchers to access areas in a clean and quiet method. (Video to follow next week).

The 6hp electric slimline lightweight outboard ( lighter than any petrol 6hp and that includes that battery and excludes the petrol engines fuel!!) electric start, no maintenance is coming soon ie end of August!

Whats even more amazing is the price..... its not much more than the ePropulsion Spirit 1 plus but has up to 3 x the power, 25% more battery and is only 3kg heavier!

Please note these will be on a first come first served basis as this year there will be very limited supply.

Though most of you know us from selling epropulsion electric engines, ecosse light weight tenders and lanoshield this week we have done some big trailers for our trade clients.

The 11m trailer with bunks is designed for the new Viking boat at irvine maritime museum.

The other large trailer is off to Ireland and will have the ribcraft 7.8m rib sitting on it.
