ES**RT RS TURBO S2……..UNDERSIDE RESTORATION!!!!!

We started this car in the summer after being approached by the owner asking if I would be willing to take the job on……So being a Ford man I couldn’t say no so we took the car in mid summer and made a start on it straight away!!! This was a very clean shell once we got all the rough stripped off it…..was there welding required?!?! Well of course there was but no where near as bad as some S2’s out there this was a clean shell all things considered even although we found more rust than we thought……6 months in and the car is ready for the rebuild after a lot of man hours…..stripped back to bare metal every inch of it welding work carried out….then rust treatment before primed seam sealed and painted 👌 now this clean shell is better than new underneath and I’m looking forward to seeing it with all new parts and fully refurbished parts on it …. Keep watching for more updates 👌

Here are a couple of jobs we had in recently, Polo GTI in for in-depth diagnostics and a remap custom written to suit upgraded exhaust system and the Seat belongs to a good friend and was in to get the wheels powder coated and diamond cut and once I had them back from my wheel refurb place I fitted them back on the car and gave them a coat of ceramic coating to help protect them for the winter 👌

It's been a long time since I've posted on this page only because we have been so busy with Custom Remapping Ltd,

We have a good friends car in the workshop as we have sent the wheels away for some repair work and powder coat and diamond cut treatment, whilst on the ramp I've rust treated and painted and clear waxed the rear beam hopefully it will last a good bit longer now, also cleaned up the callipers and gave them a clear lacquer so with the newly diamond cut wheels they will look the part 👌

So I haven't posted on this page for a while but only due to being so busy with the Remapping but we have still been actively working in here as well so thought I'd just do a post of our Saturday morning at CPI.......we look after the servicing of a fleet of vans for a Ayrshire Wind Energy company so today we had one of their VW T6's in for servicing front brakes 👌

Now that the car is all finished below and everything all back together engine is in so it's time for it to go for paint 👌👍

Once painted we will see the car back for the finishing touches

FIESTA RS TURBO RESTO......UPDATE
Today we have finished installing the engine and components, Suspension and brakes all built up and wheels are on and today the car was sitting on its wheels 🛞
Ready for the paint shop on Monday and we will have it back once it's finished to do all the finishing touches 👌

FIESTA RS TURBO RESTO........UPDATE

So it's been a good few weeks now since I've posted anything about the Fiesta we had been waiting on the hose kit coming and getting the manifold and heat shield blasted and with other work it's too it's took us a while to get back to it.... manifold and heat shield now coated with Cerakote high temperature treatment and the engine is now prepped and ready to go in the car hopefully tomorrow then it will soon be on its way to the paint shop for the finishing touch 👌

The Fiesta is coming along nicely as we are well underway with putting it back together, slow process to be sure everything is put back how it was when it was new and hopefully looks better than new when it's finished

Not long to go now till it's back on it's wheels
