So, our new Bosch KTS diag kit arrived today and within minutes we were using it to investigate this 21 plate VW Touareg which is in limp mode. Surprise surprise we are looking at a NOx/adblue issue and a secondary coolant pump fault! Both common issues on the VAG range.
This is a really good addition to our range of diagnostic equipment and we can’t wait to get our teeth into some tricky jobs with it!

A wee photo dump of the Semtech Motors team and our WAGS (and Ali’s hubby, not sure he’d want to be called a WAG lol) and good friends at our Xmas night out at the show last weekend.
Sadly Conner and Callum couldn’t make it 😔
It’s nice to get out of our overalls and into our gladrags once in a while, and a fantastic night was had by all. Met a few world champion boxers- some of them very good sports lol, we had a wonderful meal and some well earned refreshments. Plus some very good boxing on show!

Xmas holidays 2025!!
We are finishing up on the 23/12/25 and will reopen on 05/01/26 after a well earned break!
Please please please check if your car MOT is due (our email reminders have all gone out automatically for those on our system) and we will make sure you are happily still on the road!
Our diary is filling up quickly as you can imagine, so if there’s any repairs, maintenance, or even just winter safety checks required then get in touch ASAP and we will do our very best to look after you.
