We recently had two BMW’s in to have all the wheels refurbished.

Both opted for our satin black finish.

Both sets were also finished off with new M badge stickers and new centre caps that we had in stock here at SKS.

The little touches always make a big difference 👌🏽

Following on from our last post about diamond cut wheels only being able to be recut so many times.

Unfortunately you do not get the same level of workmanship everywhere that refurbishes wheels.

Whoever previously refurbished these mini wheels decided to go ahead and cut them anyway even though there wasn’t enough material. As you can see from the photos the wheels have completely lost their shape, along with rough machining marks left in them.

No one wants to receive their wheels back in this state!

We stripped these bare, repaired all the damage and powder coated them in a nice gloss black.

Unfortunately with diamond cut wheels they can only be recut so many times.

That was the case with these Golf GTI wheels, the customer opted for our bright silver instead for a factory fresh look 👌🏽

Refurbishing in a solid colour is far more wallet-friendly than replacing the wheels to keep them diamond cut. Unfortunately wheels are not cheap to replace with new ones.

If you would like your wheels checked and to discuss your options, we are always happy to take a look and help at our workshop 😊
