Moray Rugby Club are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head Coach to lead our senior men’s 1st XV in the next chapter of their competitive rugby career. Based in Elgin, Moray RFC is a well-established community club, a proud history and a commitment to development across all levels of the game.

In recent seasons, we have achieved back to back promotions that has seen the team develop from Caledonia North Two, to National Four and a National Shield Final at Murrayfield.

With a committed and ambitious player group, this would be a great opportunity to drive standards and push players to the next level.

Reception were absolutely lovely, calm, welcoming, and completely unaware of the chaos that had just parked outside. 🚗

Enter me: already stressed, slightly feral, and convinced my locking wheel nuts had vanished into another dimension. 🌌

After I’d thoroughly ransacked my own car like a discount detective with no leads, the mechanic stepped in… and found them in about 3 seconds. Three. Seconds. ⏳️

Where were they?
In a small drawstring bag. 🛍

A BAG.

Not a proper box like any reasonable person would expect, apparently they’re just freestyling storage solutions now.

At this point, I was deep into full sweary meltdown mode, questioning my life choices and my eyesight. 👓

Meanwhile, the mechanic was clearly enjoying the show, watching me unravel like it was part of the service package. 🌪

To be fair, he was brilliant, quick, efficient, and clearly far more capable than me, who had just spent far too long aggressively searching my own car and achieving absolutely nothing.

Job sorted, my dignity not so much.

Would I go back? Yes, because they’re excellent. 👏

Will I make eye contact next time? Unlikely. 😳
