I get asked a lot what is a remap/chiptune, Its a simply and safe process were we update your car/van/motorhomes ECU to run more effectively.
So why don't manufactures tune there vehicles from the factory? There are two reasons, the first, so they can sell the more expensive model (Mini one and Copper, same car different map). The second is because they will sell the same car all over the world so it needs to be able to deliver the advertised power in different environments.
However in the UK we are lucky to have good fuel and most of the country is pretty close to sea level (down here in the south). It is because of these factors that we are able to tune your engine to increase the power output and increase the MPG at the same time, while keeping well within capability of the original components.
