Are your tyres ready for whatever winter throws at them?

Wet roads, freezing temperatures and icy mornings can all make driving more challenging, so now's a good time to check your tyres.

A few things worth looking out for:
✅ Tread depth: The legal minimum is 1.6mm, but we recommend at least 3mm for winter driving.
✅ Tyre pressures: Check them regularly as temperatures drop.
✅ Tyre condition: Look for cracks, bulges or uneven wear.

The darker evenings are here, and with colder, wetter weather on the way, now is a great time to give your tyres some attention.

When did you last check yours?

A common tyre myth worth clearing up for Tyre Safety Month 👇

❌ MYTH:
No warning light means your tyre pressures are fine.

✅ TRUTH:
Tyre pressures should still be checked regularly, ideally at least once a month and before a long journey.

Tyres can gradually lose pressure over time without triggering a warning straight away, so a quick check can help with safety, tyre wear and fuel efficiency.
