We have a new opening for a role here at RS Williams as Parts Assistant
RS Williams Ltd is a leading Aston Martin Heritage specialist.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Parts Assistant to join the team at our premises in Cobham, Surrey. The right candidate will be responsible for assisting the Parts Manager in the day-to-day running of the Parts Department.
Responsibilities:
As Parts Assistant, you will support the Parts Manager in day-to-day activities and take instruction. This will involve a variety of tasks from internal parts distribution through to goods in and administration. Duties will also include identifying correct parts supply for both internal and external customers. You will strive to meet the targets set in place for the department. A transferable skillset from a similar type of role in the automotive and classic car sector would be useful.
Requirements:
• Strong IT skills across the board and understanding custom IT systems
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Excellent communication skills (both face to face and verbally)
• Keen eye for and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn
• Flexibility – this includes additional hours in busy periods
• Ability to prioritise and multitask in a constantly evolving busy environment
• A good knowledge of car parts and mechanical engineering would be an advantage
• Stock control
• Creating supplier relations
• Answering internal and external phone calls in a professional manner
• Administration of goods inwards processes and supplier invoices
• Able to work in a team environment
• Creating parts sales invoices

We are hugely proud to have prepared for sale and sold, in 2018, to Sir Sean Connery, this exquisite 1964 DB5. Following his passing, the Connery estate are offering his car to auction with a significant portion of proceeds to benefit the Sean Connery Philanthropy Fund, with the addition of a drive with Sir Sean's great friend and 3-time F1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart.

RS Williams is proud to reveal the restoration of Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato 0193. Built and raced at Le Mans in 1962, this important car with huge provenance was one of the three special-build lightweight Zagato project cars, collectively designated DP209 and created specifically for racing. Having competed at Le Mans 24 Hours ’62 with entrant Jean Kerguen and ‘Franc’ Dewez at the wheel, it was modified further for the 1963 Le Mans, and more so in future years. Following a complete restoration, involving our staffs’ own experience working with multiple factory project race cars over our 54 years in business, this intensive 5-year process involved fastidious attention to detail drawn from a huge database of images and film from 1962 and beyond. Having returned it to its authentic 1962 specification in French Racing Blue, its owner has proudly revealed it to the public at a recent visit to the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit. We would like to thank the owner for entrusting RS Williams to carry-out this important and significant restoration.
