Today, we are delighted to celebrate a very special milestone as Kaylee Spooner marks ten years of service with Barretts. Pictured here with David Banfield, Group Parts Manager for the BMW Group, Kaylee’s journey is a wonderful example of how dedication, ambition and a positive attitude can create a rewarding career.

Kaylee began her Barrett’s journey as a New and Used Car Sales Administrator before moving into the BMW Parts team, where her enthusiasm and potential quickly shone through. Keen to develop and challenge herself further, Kaylee embarked on the BMW Parts Manager Programme, which she completed with flying colours. This achievement soon led to a well-deserved promotion to Parts Manager at our Ashford BMW branch.

Over the past decade, Kaylee has become a valued part of the Barrett’s team, making a positive difference to colleagues and customers alike. Her commitment, enthusiasm and willingness to embrace new opportunities have been a constant throughout her journey.

Today, we are proud to recognise Colin Charters for an outstanding 35 years of continuous service.

Colin began his journey with Barretts as a BMW Technician Apprentice in 1986. After successfully completing his apprenticeship, he spent a short period away from the business before returning in 1991. We have been fortunate to have him as part of the team ever since.

Over the years, Colin has become a true stalwart of Barretts BMW. His technical knowledge, experience, and dedication are second to none, and his expertise is so highly regarded that BMW regularly seeks his advice and insight.

Colin's support extends far beyond his own department, helping colleagues across the wider Barretts Group whenever needed. His commitment, professionalism, and willingness to share his knowledge have made a lasting impact on the business and the many people he has worked alongside throughout his career.

A huge congratulations to James on achieving his 5-Year Award!

James is a dedicated member of the team with a valuable and highly regarded skill set. He is a great example of someone who continues to grow alongside the business as we evolve.
He is currently working towards his Level 3 JLR qualification while also beginning his BMW/MINI and Honda journey.

James is an important part of the team and is joining us on the exciting journey as the Preparation Centre develops into a multi-brand department. We look forward to seeing his continued progress and future success.
