Right… an apology from me! 😂

I’ve point-blank refused to clean the mechanics’ kitchen/toilet area, thinking surely one of them will eventually do it.

Well… today I regretted EVERYTHING when Mr Morgan walked in to use our facilities!! 🤦‍♀️🤣

So this is for all the garage girls out there:

CLEAN THE FACILITIES. NOW. 😂

Don’t make the same mistake I did! 🙈

🎉 PRESTONFEST 2026 — WHAT A DAY! 🎉

What an absolutely brilliant day at Prestonfest! ❤️

We had such a fantastic time getting out, supporting the event and enjoying everything Prestonfest had to offer. The atmosphere was incredible, the organisation was faultless and, most importantly, it was just a proper community day full of fun, smiles and good people. 🙌

We also want to take a moment to recognise the people behind the scenes. Events like this don't just happen — they take hours and hours of planning, organising, hard work and dedication, and so much of that work is done by volunteers giving up their own time. 👏

To every single volunteer, organiser and person who helped make Prestonfest happen — you are amazing! ❤️

From setting up to packing away, keeping everything running smoothly and creating such a brilliant day for everyone who attended… it really doesn't go unnoticed.
From all of us at Horizon Motor Group, thank you for having us and for putting on such a fantastic event.

The day was faultless, the atmosphere was amazing and we absolutely loved being part of it! 🥰

⚡ IMPORTANT – WE’LL BE WITHOUT POWER! ⚡

A little heads-up for all our Horizon customers…

On Tuesday 1st September, UK Power Networks will be carrying out essential work in our area, which means our power will be switched off from 9:00am.

🔧 Unfortunately, that means Horizon Motor Group will need to close temporarily for the day, as we won’t be able to carry out MOTs, diagnostics, servicing or repairs without electricity.

The current expected restoration time is between 2:30pm and 3:30pm.

🌳 The work is being carried out nearby to safely trim trees that have grown too close to the overhead power lines — essential work to help keep the local electricity supply safe and reliable.

We’re really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and we’ll be back up and running as soon as the power is restored! 💙

Every business has someone behind the scenes making sure everything keeps moving… and for us, that’s Lewis.

Lewis is our go-to guy, the man behind Horizon and, quite simply, the reason Horizon Motor Group was born in the first place.

He might be the boss, but he’s so much more than that. He’s the person who is always there when something needs sorting, someone needs a hand or a customer needs a friendly face to talk to.

🔧 Problem to solve? Lewis.
🤔 Not sure what you need? Lewis.
🛠️ Something going on behind the scenes? Definitely Lewis.

But when he’s not keeping Horizon running, family is where you’ll find him happiest. ❤️

He loves spending time with his family, escaping for a holiday in the sunshine ☀️, and enjoying a cold beer while watching anything involving motorsport. 🍺🏎️

And then there’s his slightly unexpected passion…

JAVELIN. 🏹

Yes. You read that correctly.

We’re still not entirely sure how this happened, and quite frankly, we’re as shocked as you are! 😂

Behind the business, behind the decisions and behind the scenes, Lewis is the heart of Horizon.

Friendly, approachable and always happy to help — he’s probably the person you’ll see wandering around the garage, chatting to customers, helping the team or making sure everything is running as it should.
