Excel Driver Training Limited offers driver training to new learners and those who want a little extra help for what ever reason. Lessons with an Excel Instructor focus on the pupil and the pupils needs, letting them take control of their learning and as a result making lessons more enjoyable and safer drivers on the road. All lessons are conducted at the pupils own pace and in a style that suits

the pupil best. During Lessons with Excel you wont be taught how to pass your test but will be coached how to be safe on any road and deal with any situation that may arise after you've passed.

🚨 Important Update for Learner Drivers 🚨

The DVSA has reminded all learner drivers that, since 12 May 2026, only the learner driver themselves can book, change, swap or cancel a car driving test.

This means learners must not:

❌ Use unofficial apps, websites or services that scan for driving test appointments

❌ Give their details to someone else to book a test on their behalf

The DVSA is actively monitoring misuse of the booking system and may:

⚠️ Suspend a learner’s ability to manage their test online

⚠️ Cancel their driving test booking

⚠️ Require all future changes to be made by phone

The DVSA is also warning learners about social media scams offering driving test bookings or earlier test dates.

✅ Only use the official GOV.UK driving test booking service

✅ Never give your driving licence details to someone on social media

✅ Avoid unofficial test booking apps and websites

The aim is to make the driving test booking system fairer for everyone and ensure appointments are available to genuine learner drivers.
