Wet weather driving 🌧️☔️

The weather is very changeable at the minute! Please remember in wet weather -

Stopping distances 🛑 can double in wet weather. Allow more room than you normally would.

Effective wiper blades 💧 are essential for ensuring you can clear your windscreen properly (this forms part of your MOT for this reason!). They should be replaced every 12 months - replace them if they’re not clearing rain like they used to.

Tyre tread 🛞 essential for effective grip, especially in wet weather, and must be above 1.6mm for your car to be roadworthy 📏

It’s good to get practice in a variety of weather conditions but please take extra care in the rain ☔️

I’m extremely busy throughout August, but I’m accepting new student bookings for September and beyond, including new availability on Tuesdays.

Please book early to secure lessons at a time that suits you. I have bookings in my diary as far in advance as January 2027, so don’t worry about being “too early”! 😊

Such a lovely thank you gift! 🎁🥲 from one of my recent pupils, who passed her driving test after working so hard to build her confidence on the road 🚗🥰

Learning to drive can feel really daunting, and it’s so common to feel anxious about it. Seeing someone go from nervous to confident enough to pass is exactly why I love what I do.

A huge well done again on your pass, and thank you for such a kind gesture, it really means a lot.

Ashleigh was particularly nervous, and we’ve worked hard during lessons to improve her confidence. For her, learning to drive opens up a lot of independence and means she doesn’t need to rely on others - she really put the work in, and I’m so pleased it’s paid off 🙌
