Hyundai i10 - Very common issue where the factory unit dies, blank screen, no sound, no camera, nothing.

Dealer fix is a new replacement unit, people have been quoted £3000-£4000 to replace. Even the repair companies average £500 + for this fault, with no guarantee it will last. There’s no fitting kit available to convert the navigation models to aftermarket DIN, but we have a fix 💪🏼

Rewiring and relocating the Airbag light, Hazard switch and seatbelt light to the new fascia originally in the front of the old headunit, all with different plugs on. We’ve Essentially converted this back to a none navigation model, and then upgraded it to a modern Kenwood headunit with Apple Car Play/Android Auto, DAB+, Bluetooth, USB C, HDMI etc.

The model featured here is a house favourite - The Kenwood 8021DABS.

If you’re in the same boat, or know someone who is, then this is a much better fix than the 4K alternative Hyundai will offer you, with a better quality unit and everything retained from factory such as USB, Steering wheel controls, Rear camera etc.
