David Dexters - Bosch Car Service

Dexters is looking sharp 👀

Fresh paint, new signs up, and the hedges are finally filling out the planters out front. Grey October day for the photos, but we’re chuffed with how the front’s come together.

And there’s more… Dexters car sales is back up and running 🚗

We sold cars here for years, and plenty of you still come to us for your servicing. The first few are already on the forecourt, including this BMW i8 and a Land Rover Discovery, with more landing over the next month or so. Every car is prepped in our own workshop and comes with a fresh MOT and at least 3 months’ warranty.

After a van or a 4x4 instead? Our sister company Abbotts Commercials has plenty in stock right now, including tippers and crew vans 👉 van4sale.uk

Ever wondered what’s actually under an electric car? 👀

This is it. The high voltage battery, the bit that does all the work, and this week the team had it out on the ramp.

Getting one of these out isn’t a trolley jack job. It came down onto our dedicated EV battery lift, so it can be handled safely and the job done properly.

A lot of people don’t realise we do far more than service EVs and hybrids. Dexters is HEVRA accredited and kitted out for proper EV and hybrid repairs.

Got an electric or hybrid that needs looking at? Drop us a message or give us a call.

Out with the old, in with the new 💪

We've replaced one of our old ramps with a brand new 5.5 tonne two-post lift. It's bigger and stronger, and it handles everything from your everyday runaround to large vans and 4x4s.

It's another step forward for Dexters. First new signs, then new uniforms, and now new kit in the workshop. It's the same experienced team you know, just better equipped for whatever comes through the door: old or new, petrol, diesel, hybrid or electric.

Plenty more upgrades on the way 👀

This is what happens when servicing gets skipped. 😅 Oil like this doesn't happen overnight — and this Defender 90 paid for it with a full engine swap. Booked in, stripped down, engine swapped and back on the road. Don't let yours get to this point — get it booked in before it costs you the engine. 🔧

❤️⚽️ ALVELEY, YOU HAVE DONE SOMETHING AMAZING! ⚽️❤️

We are absolutely overwhelmed with pride to announce that OVER £2,400 has been raised! 🙌🎉

The money will be shared between our Alveley Community First Responders and Alveley Football Juniors, supporting those who do so much for our community and our young footballers.

A MASSIVE shout-out to David Dexters - Bosch Car Service’s & Martini Tyre Services LTDs, who helped raise over £350 alone with some amazing prizes! 👏❤️

Thank you to every single stallholder who joined us on the day, and to Alveley and Romsley Parish Council for your incredible support, helping us raise funds and for your continued support with our defibrillator.

A huge thank you to the Graham and Head family's for organising the event and to everyone who helped make it possible:

A New Chapter for Dexters

David Dexters is becoming "DEXTERS".

Established in 1987 and now under new management, we’re starting an exciting new chapter as we work towards our 40th year.

Some things will change — and that’s the point. We’re bringing new ideas, embracing new technology and expanding what we offer, including electric and hybrid vehicles.

But we’re not leaving petrol and diesel behind. Whether your vehicle is brand new, a few years old or a much-loved older model, we’re still here to look after it.

Our experienced team remains at the heart of the business, with some technicians having been with us for 15 years or more. We’re still local, still family-run, and still committed to doing things properly.

Built on Trust. Driven By Quality.

Over the next few months, you’ll see Dexters take shape.

Same roots. New management. New direction. Exciting future.
