Great excitement, the ship arrived! So we have galvanised grab handles again, bonnet spare wheel lugs 90307235, new front panel mounting plates MRC5519 & MRC5520, metric screw sets to fit fuel tanks, chassis bump stops, and bulkhead grab handles 346399 for 101 & Lightweight Land Rovers. Much more to unpack in the next couple of weeks!

More new products arrived this week, wiring loom fir tree straps with the often missing retaining sleeve, in two sizes 240429 80mm (Engine loom) & 240430 130mm, Station Wagon Roof Vent Seal and complete ST51 Seal/Gasket Set. Later next week we should have an plethora of new parts arriving for Series 2 & 3, we can't wait!

Sad news..
Just sharing the statement from Blanchards Ltd below. Like most specialists we use Blanchards repository of historical parts to aid our overseas customers and source obsolete reference components for reproduction.

"It is with the deepest regret that we have to inform you that, after a short battle with cancer, our founder, Mr. Peter Blanchard, passed away peacefully at home last night.

Pete started the business in the late 1960s from his garage at home, and it quickly grew into more than he ever expected. This was due to his hard work, dedication, and commitment to both the Land Rover marque and to his customers.

We believe we still carry that same commitment to our customer base today and, as Pete used to say, “We’re not happy unless you are.”

As a mark of respect, we will be closed tomorrow, 11th May 2026.

Both lovely and touching, feed your soul on something nutritious for a few minutes (and note the Series 3 Land Rover!). Despite our strenuous efforts, occasionally our packages arrive with similar evidence of an interesting journey so perhaps we have been using the same courier services!

This weeks new parts, this time its not a Land Rover part, we've just received adapter bezels for fitting Lucas switches to wooden dash panels. Its been a fairly busy spell here with the Easter weekend. Today we celebrated retaking our 100% positive feedback crown on eBay. We strive for excellence and almost all of our customers are really constructive when issues arise but despite this negative feedback still happens! 98% of the time left by customers who haven't contacted us first!
We've a long procession of new parts coming in the next year, the past two weeks have been mostly Series 3 parts, including: door mirror brackets, brake pedal brackets, original pattern auxiliary dash panels, Series 2 & 3 engine mounts (109 & 88), distributor for Series 1 86 onwards plus more plates and decals.
