🚨 Didn’t expect this call tonight… just as I was finishing work! 🙈

Partner broke down all the way down in Porthcawl, with a car full, trailer hooked up — so I jumped in the recovery vehicle and off I went! 🚗💨

Recovered the Audi Q3, which is looking like a suspected turbo problem. 🙈

Another job safely recovered and back home — that’s what we’re here for! 💪🔧

🔧 Busy day at Pitstop Garage! 🔧

The Peugeot Boxer is finally on the ramp 🙈 — in today for a clutch replacement.

Also in today, a Renault Megane for an intercooler and recirculating valve replacement.

Alongside those jobs, we’ve got a couple of MOTs, services and plenty of other work keeping the team busy! 💪🔧

🚗 Just a few jobs from last week and today! 🔧

We’ve had another busy few days here at Pitstop Garage!

🔧 Ford Fiesta ST – Collected with no gears. Recovered back to the garage, where we found the gearbox selector had snapped. Selector replaced and the car is now back on its way to the customer.

🛞 Mazda 2 – Collected after suffering two tyre blowouts. Safely recovered and brought in for attention.

🚘 Jaguar – Collected from Crickhowell with a non-starting issue and brought back to the garage for diagnosis.

🔩 Citroën C4 Grand Picasso – In for a clutch kit replacement. The semi-automatic gearbox was removed, and we replaced the dual-mass flywheel, clutch and electronic slave cylinder. The new parts were then programmed/relearned to the vehicle and returning the car to the customer.

🛠️ Preventative maintenance keeping our customers on the road! 🛠️

Another busy day at Pitstop Garage!

✅ Vauxhall Astra in for a new timing belt kit, water pump, and auxiliary belt to keep everything running as it should.

✅ Nissan Juke came in with a severely corroded front shock absorber pan. Replaced with a new one and safely delivered back to the customer.

✅ Toyota Aygo recovered after losing all drive. A new clutch kit was fitted, and it’s now back on the road and ready to go.

🔧 Another happy customer at Pitstop Garage! 🔧

This Audi A4 came in with a rattling dual mass flywheel. After removing the gearbox, we replaced the dual mass flywheel with brand new parts. While everything was apart, we also found the clutch was almost at its wear limit, so a new clutch kit was fitted too.

Now it’s back together, running smoothly, and ready to get back on the road.

🔧 Another big job completed at Pitstop Garage! 🔧

This Kia Optima came in for a full engine replacement, and while the engine was out, we carried out some important preventative maintenance to keep it running reliably for years to come.

Another busy day at Pitstop Garage keeping our customers on the road! 🔧🚗

✅ Kia Optima in for an engine replacement. We’ve removed a replacement engine from a running donor car and it’s now ready to be fitted, getting this Optima back where it belongs.

✅ VW Caddy came in with a slipping clutch. A brand new clutch has been fitted and it’s back on the road driving as it should.

✅ Vauxhall Adam was recovered to us today after suffering a snapped subframe. Once back at the garage, we got it straight on the ramp and replaced the subframe with a new one. The customer had been let down elsewhere for two weeks, so they were over the moon to finally have their car repaired and back on the road.

Another busy day at Pitstop Garage! 👨‍🔧🚗

✅ Vauxhall Mokka – In with a rattling dual mass flywheel. Gearbox removed, new dual mass flywheel and clutch kit fitted, and ready for the customer to collect tomorrow.

✅ Ford Focus – Turbo failure diagnosed and repaired. New turbo fitted, intercooler drained and cleaned, plus fresh engine oil and filter. Back on the road!

✅ Ford Transit – Replaced a leaking sump and fitted a new driveshaft.

✔️ We also completed a couple of MOTs alongside everything else to keep our customers safely on the road.
