SL55 AMG in today for diagnosis of Red Battery warning lamp, no other issues.

After some stripping and investigation, traced to defective Battery control unit. Small fire inside, could have been alot worse.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our expanding team working on Mercedes-Benz Cars and light commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will need to be fully skilled, possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are safe and operational. A commitment to excellent customer service is essential. Good rates of pay and bonus depending experience.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
Perform routine maintenance such as vehicle servicing and repairs.
Electrical and Mechanical fault diagnosis.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, ideally Mercedes- Benz or prestige brands.
Must have own basic tools. (Specialist tools provided)
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients if required.
A valid UK driving licence is required.
