We always do our best to keep downtime to a minimum for our customers’ vehicles. Today’s job was a temporary repair to this lamp so the vehicle can continue working throughout the coming week.

A new lamp has been ordered, and a return visit to site has been arranged at a time that’s convenient for the customer.

Sometimes it’s good to get back to basics 🔧

This 26-year-old 75E from Iveco is a perfect example of why older trucks still have their place. Only 76,000 miles on the clock, every engine cover still in place, original paintwork, and clearly cared for properly by its owner.

No ECUs.No ABS or EBS.No AdBlue.No lane assist.No fancy camera mirrors.Not even electric windows.

Just a simple, reliable old diesel truck built to do a job — and still doing it well.

For once, something genuinely enjoyable to work on.

It’s been a packed few days! We’ve been uninstalling old camera systems, fitting new ones, installing GPS trackers on Ivecos, sorting exhaust leaks, replacing propshaft U/Js on Volvos, and even doing roadside accident repairs. Add in the usual PMIs and services — plus the wave of non-starts thanks to the cold snap — it’s been full-on! 🚛🔧….
