With the colder, wetter weather setting in, now’s the perfect time to make sure your car is ready for whatever the British weather throws at us! 🥶☔
A few simple checks can help keep you and your family safe on the road:
✅ Tyres – Check your tyre pressure and tread depth for better grip on wet roads.
✅ Lights – Make sure all your lights are working properly so you can see and be seen.
✅ Windscreen wipers – Worn wipers can seriously affect visibility in heavy rain.
✅ Screenwash – Keep it topped up with a winter-grade solution to help prevent freezing.
✅ Battery – Cold weather can put extra strain on your battery, so don’t get caught out with a car that won’t start!
✅ Brakes – Make sure your brakes are working as they should.
🌫️ Remember: leave extra distance in wet or icy conditions, slow down when visibility is poor, and never drive through floodwater if you can avoid it.
