It is good to support other driving instructors to bring The Honest Truth coaching conversations into their driving lessons and show how the Instructors Handbook is a valuable resource tool.
We also covered the driving instructor competencies in detail as shown in the 'Raising The Standards' workbook.

An excellent 1st intensive driving lesson for Ramsay Benson today and we completed all the modules from The Honest Truth with good engaging coach conversations.
We also looked at 'My Car My Rules'
and 'Your Car My Rules'
Covering things that will keep the car safer whether the driver or passenger.
Well done Ramsay.

A great opportunity to be a guest speaker today and the MSA GB - Scottish Training Seminar and AGM with 120+ members in attendance.
It was good for networking and learning new things as well as promoting The Safe Road User Academy.

Well done Kseniia - safe driving.

This is the result of regular driving lessons over a six month period and getting ready to sit a short notice test.

Another great driving test pass for instructor Brian.

A great driving instructor development session tonight with Janna Campbell of Turning Point Driving School as we looked at The Honest Truth Road Safety Campaign materials as a way to address excess speed for drivers on rural roads.
The Honest Truth Driving Instructors Handbook is a great resource.
Great work Janna and thanks for trusting me to support your coaching journey.

It is great to see our instructor, Brian Smith as an invited guest speaker at the MSA GB Scotland - Scottish Training Seminar & AGM.
He will be talking about The Safe Road User and Educational Qualifications being the way forward.
This will be a good opportunity as the IDEA Level 5 and 8 qualifications will be mentioned as well as Bright Coaching Level 7 as a way of raising instructor standards

Does your driving instructor include important and highly relevant content from The Honest Truth national road safety campaign?
We do and it is well received by our students.
This week Emma wood graduated by completing all 10 truths. Well done 🚗
