Race Chassis & Classic Car Restoration. Race chassis & Classic car restoration is a family run business, started by an ex Formula Ford chassis builder. Repair sections also fabricated.

Full or partial repairs, we offer restoration on all makes and models of classic vehicle. Bodywork- removal and replacement or preparation and full repair to the highest standard and respraying. Chassis and suspension repairs- leaf springs, coil springs, bulkhead welding etc all fabricated to the highest possible standard by our former Van Diemen chassis builder. As it’s our work vehicle it does get some abuse!
It will be getting…
-The brand spanking new Jaguar electric front seats shown in the photos fitted. 👌
-New rear axle and diff, upgraded brakes from drum to disc plus all other parts required.
-New power steering pump.
-Service and MOT as standard.
-MOST IMPORTANTLY… the paint work is getting tidied up! 🥳
-Suppose I’d better clean it both inside and out too… 🙈

How do you get a Series 3 Land Rover from the ground into the barn when it has no engine? Pull it and push it with your Defender (and a hefty piece of wood!) of course! 😃💪🏼
Time to get the Series restored… this is going to be a weekends and evenings job due to work and house build commitments!
