Unlike a pre-manufactured windscreen, flat laminated glass for civil construction, mining, and heavy machinery applications can be cut to the machine's exact specifications, either directly from the existing window or from a template.
The process requires accurate dimensions, correct clearances, controlled scoring and careful handling of both glass layers and the laminated interlayer. Each factor contributes to the final installation, structural integrity, and overall safety of the glazing system.
