ADAM HAD THE URGE FOR MORE POWER
Adam's ve ss ute back in ready for more power
Adam was wanting to hit the 900hp mark so we got to work to deliver him a solid build and out came the stock bottom end 6 litre
This build consisted of a CMP in house built forged motor assembly, th400 conversion with transbrake, Dominator 4k stall converter, rear airbag kit with air tank and compressor hidden in the underside of tub, trans cooler to cool the th400, flex fuel and engine bay tidy up. Whilst the engine was out we had his engine bay painted with flake throughout to tidy up his engine bay.
This combo is now running a set of compstar rods, cp billet Pistons, kelford camshaft, built Reverse pattern th400 with transbrake, Dominator 4000rpm stall converter, th400 shift module, b&m Stealth pro ratchet with drop box to allow a stock finish inside the cabin, g42 frame 78mm turbo, twin in tank fuel pump module, 1650cc injectors, eboost 2 and flex fuel kit for the use of pump 98 and e85 race fuel.
We got to building his engine to handle the power, performed the th400 conversion allowing the factory ecu to control reverse lights, park/neutral switch, cruise control and factory speedo input.
We also fitted a set of air ride rear only airbag kit hidden in the underside of the tub with switch panel inside the cabin to control left and right airbags.
Onto the dyno we went for tuning
Low boost 593.6kw (797hp) on 12psi and 977nm
High boost 751.5kw (1009hp) on 18.5psi and 1172nm
We have tested these setups back to back both reliably and efficiently.
