So yesterday we took the #32 street stocker to Tamworth for the last run of the season to try and get a feel for the car
Heat 1 6th-2nd
Heat 2 2nd - DNF
Heat 3 3rd-5th
Feature DNS

Night started off strong but we struggled to keep the temp cool. And car would go off about half way throu the race. After the 3rd heat we noticed the valley gasket had been pushed out so we decided to park it up.

A few upgrades and tweeks in the off season and we will be back ready to compete for next season.

Well what a couple days it has been. And nothing has gone according to plan.

Plan A was for myself and Trevor to race two different cars. Then my car decided it doesn’t need a complete head gasket. So we went with plan B

Plan B Trevor and myself to drive the falcon. Turns out it didn’t want its harmonic balancer so it spat it off.

This was all before 11am Saturday 🤦🏻‍♂️

Plan C rush back to dads and put a wiring harness in the bender so we can get it running.

Turns out it was tired and wanted to lay down 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣.

Oh well that’s racing. Onto the next one.

Well ladies and gentlemen. Race week is upon us once again.

This weekend we will make the quick trip to Oakburn Park Raceway here in Tamworth to compete in the Annual Charlie McGarva Memorial race.

We are fairly confident we have fixed the issues in the #32 street stocker so o will be debuting that this weekend

The freshly rebuilt #13 will be piloted by Trevor Gesell as the old man is still recovering from knee surgery so he will be sitting out this meeting.

We are hoping to put on a good show and if you can’t make it out there then you can also stream it from the comfort of your home.

Well unfortunately I have made the difficult decision to withdraw from tonight’s race meeting at Narrabri Speedway. After what has been a tough couple of weeks getting this car ready it decides it no longer wants to fire. After a lot of choice words I turned the shed lights out at 1am and gave up.

I want to apologise to all my sponsors for not being able to make it happen and display there logos at the track. So instead later today I will do a reveal on the cars design.

If anyone happens to have a race harness for a VY commodore or knows where to get one ASAP let me know. As I want this issue rectified.

Lastly I’d like to thank Dad and Liam for all there hard work over the last couple of months building this car.

Well wasn’t exactly the night we had hoped for. Colapsed another RHF shock. And developed a miss under load. So chasing that all night. But we had a blast even woth a s**t car still managed some half decent results. Not sure where we finished in feature. I’m thinking 3rd or 4th.

Anyways we shall fix it. And for the 3rd run of the car it shall have its third driver.

Well well well. I guess race day is upon us.

Daniels decided to jump in the #2 GST Transport backed fender bender.

Shake off some cobwebs and see what the commodore has got.

Now last time Daniel drove a commodore bender it ended in multiple flips and twists. So let’s try and keep it straight ish this time.
