Some attention was needed in the form of some fresh rear brake pads with the addition of a new wear sensor ✅
Also, a battery health check found the original Mercedes unit to be low on life. A new Velcel battery was supplied courtesy of A2R Batteries & Performance and we fitted & adapted it as required ✅

Another leaking Audi TFSI V6, this time in the form of an RS5. Both turbo exhaust housings come out to gain access to the oil cooler & oil filter housing, once the items are removed, a big clean up follows and all o-rings and seals are replaced. ✅✅

2024 M4 Comp in for an interim service 🔧
Like any good BMW owner, this one elected not to wait out the lengthy BMW service interval, so an interim service was carried out between the standard BMW CBS interval.
OEM parts were preferred as the vehicle is still under manufacturers warranty.
These minor interim services come highly recommended, especially for the performance range of BMW. 🇩🇪 🚗

A couple of paint correction & graphene coating applications done over the last few weeks. ✨ A package that has been offered exclusively to my service customers for the last 5 years, wether applied to their existing vehicles or new purchases, this is a competitive alternative to dealership offered paint protections which are generally very poorly applied and other third party options which can be very expensive 🚗

Quick diag & repair for this mk7 Golf R - corrosion was found in the ambient temperature sensor due to water entry which was causing multiple issues including an engine light and sporadic overworking of the thermo fans. A brand new sensor was fitted and the plug was contact cleaned to conclude a successful repair ✅✅
A crack in the coolant reservoir-to-water pump pipe was also detected & replaced on the spot ✅

🇩🇪 2012 BMW x3 20d in for oil leaks & oil splatter rectification.
Upon inspection we found 2 issues, the valve cover gasket had hardened causing oil leaks & the PCV valve was faulty causing excessive crank case pressure which, in turn was pushing pressurized oil out of the oil filler neck.
The valve cover & PCV assembly were replaced with a brand new item ✅
Corrosion brushed off the injector shafts and the tubes and seats cleaned ✅
Injector seat seals replaced ✅
Re-assembled, cleaned & tested ✅

A complimentary inspection of the timing chain system and other common failure points were also carried out and presented to the customer for their consideration moving forward.
