Turns out all Dean’s was missing was a few mullets, acid wash jeans and enough neon to be seen from space. 🕺⚡️

🧰 🧑🏼‍🔧 Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Will for work experience here at Dean’s Hydraulic Services.

We love having the opportunity to give young people a real insight into the industry, helping them learn new skills, ask plenty of questions, and experience what life in a busy workshop is all about.

From getting hands on around the workshop to seeing the day to day operations that keep our customers moving, it’s been great to share our knowledge and hopefully inspire a future mechanic, fitter, or heavy diesel technician.

A big thanks to Will for their enthusiasm, willingness to learn and positive attitude. 👏

Investing in local youth and supporting pathways into the trades is something we’re proud to be a part of.

Who knows, we might just be training a future Dean’s team member! 🚜🔧

Well, that’s it. He’s famous now. 🎬 🌟

Spotted today giving an interview like a seasoned TV celebrity and looking far too comfortable infront of the camera. We’re not saying fame has gone to his head.. but we fully expect autograph requests

We’ve already had to remind him that one TV interview doesn’t qualify him for a dressing room, personal assistant or VIP parking spot.

Thankfully, despite his celebrity status, he’s still turning up to work and fixing hydraulic gear.

A big thank you to WIN News for stopping by and having a chat with the boss man.

We’ll keep everyone updated if he starts insisting on being called “The Talent.”

If you see him around town, try not to stare. He’s adjusting to life as a local celebrity.

🍻 LONG WEEKEND ALERT 🍻

The tools are going down, the workshop lights are getting switched off, and the crew are taking a well earned break for the long weekend.

🔧 Dean’s Hydraulic Services will be closed from Saturday 6th June and will reopen on Tuesday 9th June.

If your machine decides to throw a tantrum over the weekend, you’ll have to tell it to hang in there until we’re back on deck!

Have a ripper long weekend, stay safe, enjoy a cold one, and we’ll see you all Tuesday ready to get stuck back into it.

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We are a locally trusted business known for quality workmanship, reliability, and strong customer service. 🔧 About the Role -
This position involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a range of heavy diesel vehicles and hydraulic systems. You’ll be working in a fast paced workshop environment where attention to detail and efficiency are highly valued.

🔧 Key Responsibilities -
• Diagnose and repair heavy diesel machinery and vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing
• Work with hydraulic systems and components
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Work both independently and as part of a team

🔧 Requirements & Skills -
• Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• Current and valid driver’s licence
• Strong work ethic and motivated attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
