About Us:
Brian Collins Smash Repairs is a well-established and reputable auto repair shop that specializes in high-quality smash repairs, painting, and restoration services. Due to business growth, we are looking for an experienced Panel Be**er with supervisory experience to join our friendly and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and restore vehicle panels to their original shape and condition.
• Perform welding, straightening, and reshaping of panels.
• Remove and replace damaged panels as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for painting and reassembly.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
• Ensure all safety and environmental guidelines are followed.
• Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets industry standards.
• Manage workflow and assist with meeting deadlines and customer expectations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Panel Be**er (automotive experience preferred).
• Supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., trade qualification in panel beating) is an advantage.
