The workshop has been busy and pumping this week! 💪🔧

We’ve had cars coming through the doors for all sorts of jobs — from clutches and logbook servicing to repairs, suspension work and lift kits, and plenty more in between! 🚗💨
It’s been one of those weeks where the tools haven’t stopped, the hoist has been busy, and the team has been getting stuck into it to keep our customers’ vehicles safe, reliable and back on the road. 👨‍🔧🔩

🔧 LOG BOOK SERVICE vs BASIC SERVICE — WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

We get asked this one a lot! 🚗

Not all car services are the same, and choosing the right service can make a big difference to your vehicle’s maintenance and long-term reliability.

📘 LOG BOOK SERVICE

A log book service is carried out according to the manufacturer’s scheduled servicing requirements for your particular vehicle.

Depending on the vehicle and service interval, this can include:

✅ Engine oil and filter replacement
✅ Inspection and checks as specified by the manufacturer
✅ Fluid levels and condition
✅ Brakes and steering components
✅ Suspension and driveline
✅ Belts and hoses
✅ Tyres and tyre pressures
✅ Lights, wipers and safety items
✅ Diagnostic scan where applicable
✅ Service interval-specific items such as filters, spark plugs, belts and other scheduled maintenance
✅ Resetting the service reminder where applicable
✅ Recording the service in the vehicle’s service history

A log book service is designed to make sure the vehicle receives the correct maintenance at the correct intervals.

🔧 BASIC SERVICE

A basic service is generally a more straightforward maintenance service and may include:
