This log splitter engine had water ingress from being left outside in the elements uncovered.
Some air filter housings pool & allow transfer of water into the cylinder.
This engine is now scraped.

To avoid costly repairs, do not overload your ride-on mower trailer. Fortunately, this item was replaceable on this model; a strengthening bracket kit was also added to the transmission tow plate to ensure it will not happen again.
