💙 20 YEARS. ONE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY. SO MANY SPECIAL PEOPLE. 💙

Today, we celebrated something very special — 20 years of BMW East Rand.

But when you look back over 20 years, you realise that a dealership is so much more than a building, a name or a logo.

It’s the people, the friendships, the memories, the challenges, the celebrations and the customers who have become part of our story.

Today, we had the privilege of celebrating with the very people who started this journey in the East Rand — Vincent, Gina and Matthew Vermaak.

The Vermaak family joined our entire team for a special lunch, where we shared stories, laughter and some very special moments. Our Dealer Principal, Shane Frandsen, welcomed everyone and shared heartfelt words before presenting the Vermaak family with a thank-you gift on behalf of our team.

It was our small way of saying thank you for the foundation, the legacy and the journey that began 20 years ago. ❤️

🕰️ A VERY SPECIAL 28-YEAR JOURNEY

We also celebrated someone who has an incredible story of his own.

Jabu — 28 years of service. 👏

Think about that for a moment…

Jabu has been part of this journey for longer than BMW East Rand has officially been BMW East Rand.

He has seen the dealerships move, evolve and change names. He has watched buildings change, teams grow, generations of customers come and go — and through it all, Jabu has remained part of the family.

To honour his incredible loyalty and dedication, Jabu was presented with a framed collection of photographs showing our dealerships throughout the years — capturing the different locations, names and chapters of the journey he has been such an important part of.

It was more than a gift.

It was a piece of our history, framed for someone who helped create it. 💙

And then came one of our favourite moments of the day — getting the whole BMW East Rand family together for our 20th birthday group photo. 📸

One picture.

Hundreds of stories.

Thousands of memories.

And 20 years of being Driven by people.

To the Vermaak Family — thank you for starting something so special.

To Shane Frandsen — thank you for your leadership and for bringing everyone together to celebrate this milestone.
