We’re seeing so many of these Amarok V6 failures lately and it's scary what we see lurking under the hood of what was once the king of power on our roads!!
Unfortunately they were engineered to pass extreme emissions regulations, not to age gracefully....
As mileage builds, EGR heat, carbon buildup and airflow restrictions compound, driving temps go UP and efficiency goes DOWN.
The engine isn’t failing, it’s slowly being strangled by its own emissions hardware!

Same symptoms! Same cause!
The main problem is thermal management & airflow restriction.
❌ Throttle valve acting as the silent killer... massively clogged & restrictive.
❌ EGR feeding heat + soot back into the intake.
❌ Factory engine thermostat running too hot and failing.
❌ Transmission thermostat keeping oil temps unnecessarily high.
