Engine was locked up from sitting for years. Soaked the cylinders and got it broken loose. Runs strong! Customer got lucky, it doesn't even smoke!

I was recently gifted a 1970 Sportster that has been in pieces for about 12-15 years. Things got rusty and corrosion set in as well. To clean it up proper I dabbled in some v***r honing on a friend's machine yesterday morning. It does an amazing job but I was a little unhappy with the uneven/cloudy finish in the end. I did a little research and I need to add more media to it and it'll give me the clear silver finish I want. Works awesome on aluminum but I did a cast iron intake for this ironhead and it took an eternity and didn't even touch all the rust. So for the cast iron parts I'm going to stick to sand blasting. Just wanted to share! #1970
