Take a look through the front of your radiator every once in a while.

Bent fins, dirt, bugs, and road debris can restrict airflow through the core and reduce cooling efficiency.

A quick visual inspection can catch a problem before temperatures start climbing.

A good fan is only part of the airflow equation.
The shroud helps the fan pull air across more of the radiator core instead of only drawing through the area directly in front of the blades.

That means better use of the radiator’s surface area, especially when the car is sitting still or moving slowly. When you’re planning a cooling system, don’t treat the fan and shroud as an afterthought.

Are DeWitts C6 radiator and fan combos completely plug-and-play?
Not quite, but the installation is straightforward.

The factory fan controller is removed from the original fan shroud and mounted to the new DeWitts assembly. From there, the factory fan motor wiring is connected to the new fan kit.

Your radiator hoses do a lot of work every time you drive, and they’re easy to overlook until there’s a problem.

Take a few minutes to check for:

• Cracks or splitting
• Bulges or soft spots
• Leaks around the connections
• Hoses that feel unusually hard or brittle
• Loose or corroded clamps

A worn hose can turn into a cooling problem fast, so catching the warning signs early can save you a headache later.
