WILDWOOD AFTER DARK. Sure, we race on the beach!!!!!But if you think TROG ends when the last racer comes off the sand…you ain’t been paying attention. 😉
When the sun drops, Wildwood turns the neon on!!!!The old motel signs start signing. Hot rods creep down the avenue. Bikes are lined up down the avenues.Somebody’s playing music. Somebody’s telling secrets in a dim parking lot. 👀And there’s always an engine firing off in the distance. It’s all TROG! All weekend long!!!!!!
The Blue Palm-TROG head quarters, The Caribbean. Starlux hotel, Quebec. The Skylark….and all those great old Wildwood joints that have been lighting up these streets longer than most of us have been around. Skip the fancy stuff. Grab a room at one of these joints park your machine out front and be part of the scenery. Because there’s something pretty damn special about waking up, walking outside with a cup of coffee, bare feet, and seeing a row of old machines sitting underneath a neon sign.The racing is only part of this thing. The streets. The motels. The neon. The music. The people!!!!!That’s the magic.✨Come spend a few days with us. Feel the neon!

All professional cameras will be let into Trog this year. 😁 👍 I must admit, I punished a lot of good peoples because of a few bad apples. Apologies! In years past, Trog (which has no corporate sponsors since Covid) wound up in weird places. Target actually sold trucker hats, with a picture of my motorcycle on it. 🎯 Never did a deal with them. I’d also never print a picture of myself, and sell it on a T shirt, yet… I’m all over the world on T shirts. I once walked into a hardware store, and saw a giant work glove display, it had a giant picture of our flag girl on it, I did not do a deal with them either. So, no longer will I punish you for some slimy crap that happened in the corporate world. If you bring a camera, just please step to the side of the line and sign a form that you won’t put Mel on a T shirt, or coffee mug, or coaster. Thanks!!! Beach Report!!! Well, nothing but great news… 😎 Facts, Army Core of Engineers no longer dredge, or remove sand from Wildwood… to help replenish other local beach’s, not so lucky. It’s been two years since, and the beach is growing!!! Due to a wet summer…( lots of rain) we have a better beach for racing!!! You can expect, a FAST beach! Not only that… but it makes for our lives setting up the beach, and parking Customs BY The Sea (back on the beach) lives… much easier! A hot dry summer, causes fluffy sand, not easy to drive on. Beach prep has started… and it always feels like home when my 👣 hit that sand. Thursday Friday pre parties, well we have more parking lots than ever, with curated cars and bikes, with drinking permits in all the lots! So come have a drink, and make some life long friends…. SUMMER isn’t over yet!!! Let’s give her a whirl one last nice weekend here in the East!!! Tickets now on sale… link in Bio above!

Gooooddd morning… WILDWOOD!!! Uno, Dos, tres, Cuatro… October!!! That’s right… Oct 1-2-3-4, 2026 here we come! 🧨 💥 Today, is our first day on site, and we are happy to get things rolling!!! This is by far… our most well prepared year. We have curated a playing field of… more racers than ever! We have filled the beach with customs, traditional hot rods for you to view and get to know their owners from all over the country. Cruising in… just for Trog and our new and improved Customs by The Sea show. Meldon Van Riper Stultz III has gone out of his way to stuff more rock and roll down your throats!!! 🤢 We take rock and roll, pretty seriously… and boy do we have a line up! We have added a second bar, (a big one) 😳, and a second musical stage out in the center of the beach! This way, the vibe is all over, and not just stuck in one corner. We have taking over more parking lots, in and around our host hotel (thurs/fri), at the Blue Palms. You know how we like to do it… the party gets started on Thursday!!! This year, we even have some very special guests! 😎 Both, Hop Up Magazine, and our old buds… Dice Magazine are both joining us for some good old fashioned shenanigans!!!
